Talent Acquisition Specialist
Medior/Senior
About our People & Culture team
The People & Culture team shapes how it feels to be part of Decenter - from the first hello to how we work together every day. We’re a small team of two, working to create an environment where people can do great work, keep growing, feel connected and create impact.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll help us grow this culture by building genuine relationships and shaping how people experience Decenter long before they join.
What is the role of this position?
If connecting with people, exploring new channels, and spotting potential where others might not look sounds like your thing, you might be the proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist we’re looking for - someone ready to shape how we attract, engage, and hire talent for our team.
This role is for someone who thrives on autonomy and ownership - who can independently lead hiring processes, build strong pipelines, and help us grow our talent network across tech, product, and operations.
You’ll work closely with the People & Culture Manager and the People Experience Generalist, as well as with hiring managers across teams. Together, we’ll make sure that every candidate, whether they join us or not, experiences what makes Decenter Decenter.
What your day-to-day will look like
- Source, engage, and attract top candidates across multiple channels - from LinkedIn and Discord to referrals and communities
- Own the full hiring cycle, from shaping roles with hiring managers to delivering a fair and transparent candidate experience
- Market open positions via company’s career page, job boards and community channels
- Nurture long-term relationships with potential candidates and build Decenter’s talent pool for future needs
- Actively participate in employer branding activities together with the rest of P&C team - from writing content to joining local tech events and community initiatives
- Track and analyze hiring metrics, identifying ways to improve our candidate experience and recruitment efficiency
- Constantly experiment with sourcing approaches, tools, and channels - finding creative ways to meet people where they are
What this role is NOT
- It’s not a purely operational, “take orders and post jobs” type of role
- It’s not a role where you’ll just fill requisitions - you’ll create pools and build community
- It’s not a corporate HR position - there’s no bureaucracy, just accountability and ownership
What do you need to succeed in this role?
- 2+ years of recruitment experience (in-house or agency), ideally in a tech/startup setting
- Experience in sourcing and assessing technical and product profiles
- Great communication and interpersonal skills - you know how to build trust quickly
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with ATS tools and employer branding principles
- You naturally follow trends in the tech ecosystem and know where (and how) to find people who don’t usually hang out on traditional job boards
- Proactive mindset, curiosity, and self-drive - you take ownership, not waiting for someone to tell you what to do
- You have strong team collaboration skills, communicate effectively, provide feedback, and function well in an environment with cross-functional and decentralized structures
- You are goal-oriented with a broader vision and capable of finding new ways to achieve our objectives
What can give you an additional advantage?
- You’re familiar with the Web3 space - maybe you’ve hired for crypto, blockchain, or fintech roles before, or you’ve simply been part of the community and understand its rhythm
- You’ve worked in a product-oriented environment, where teams build and maintain in-house products rather than deliver outsource projects
- A personal connection to our mission: creating a fairer, more inclusive internet where people truly own their assets and data
If you’re ready to build relationships that shape the future of DeFi and the people who drive it, we’d love to hear from you.
Send your CV (or just a note telling us why this speaks to you) to jobs@decenter.com.
QA Engineer
Medior
About Our Frontend and Client-Facing Team
Our role is to develop and improve the user interface and the entire dashboard through which DeFi Saver users can manage their crypto assets, interact with DeFi protocols, and initiate automation.
Our team currently includes five Frontend Engineers, a Product Designer, a QA Engineer (your closest peer), and a Frontend & Client-facing Lead. We’re one of the two technical teams working on DeFi Saver, alongside the Community/BizDev and Product teams.
We’re looking to add an experienced QA Engineer who will raise the quality bar across documentation, manual testing, and test automation - and help us ship reliable, maintainable releases of DeFi Saver.
What is the role of this position?
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated by ownership?
At Decenter, we’re looking for a QA Engineer who enjoys turning ambiguity into clear test plans, catching regressions before they reach users, and shaping quality practices together with engineers and product.
You’ll collaborate closely with a cross-functional group of FE and BE engineers and the product team, ensuring that every new feature is tested thoroughly and released with confidence. Your work will directly impact functionality that interacts with significant user assets - which means precision, accountability, and attention to detail are essential. Experience with Web3 or DeFi is a plus, but what matters most is curiosity and a genuine desire to understand the domain you’re testing.
What your day-to-day will look like?
- Plan, write, and maintain test documentation in TestRail (test plans, cases, runs)
- Perform manual testing of new features and lead regression cycles
- Build and maintain automated UI/API tests (Playwright/Cypress; Postman)
- Review PRs ready for QA and verify acceptance criteria
- File, triage, and track bugs; analyze automation results; communicate risks and priorities
- Join feature kick-offs (every 2–3 weeks) and the weekly FE sync
- Contribute to improving CI/CD checks and overall QA standards
- Work with the team on risk reduction during planning and ensuring product stability
Tools & Stack: Playwright/Cypress, Postman, GitHub, TestRail, VS Code
Product: DeFi Saver
What this role is NOT
- It’s not a role with strict processes or step-by-step instructions - our QA work relies on judgment, initiative, and critical thinking rather than rigid rules
- It’s not limited to testing only what’s finished - you’ll often test features early in development, when things are still changing and evolving
- It’s not a position where you work in isolation - communication and collaboration with developers and the product team are a big part of your daily flow
- It’s not for someone who avoids ambiguity - sometimes documentation isn’t perfect, and part of your job is to help make it better
- And it’s definitely not just a job to “check boxes” - here, quality ownership means shaping how the product grows, not just verifying what’s already built
What do you need to succeed in this role?
- At least 2 years of QA experience in testing web applications - understanding how different browsers, flows, and edge cases can affect product quality.
- Strong sense of clarity and structure when documenting tests and writing bug reports - developers should instantly understand what went wrong and how to reproduce it.
- Confidence in manual testing, with some exposure or curiosity toward test automation (UI or API).
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows, including how QA fits into pull requests, reviews, and releases.
- You possess a "can do" mentality. We try, fail, iterate, but always aim to move forward towards our planned goals.
- You see change as an opportunity, not a disruption. Working in a fast-evolving and dynamic industry feels exciting rather than overwhelming - you can adapt.
- Sharp attention to detail and an analytical mindset that helps you uncover patterns others might miss and are not afraid to point out opportunities for us to be better at what we do.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills - you ask the right questions, share feedback openly, and work effectively with engineers and product teams in a cross-functional, decentralized environment to ensure shared understanding of quality goals.
- A problem-solving attitude - you don’t just report bugs, you look for why they happen and how they can be prevented.
- Genuine interest in Web3/DeFi - experience helps, but a desire to explore and understand the domain matters most.
What can give you an additional advantage?
- Experience with Web3 or DeFi products - whether as a user, enthusiast, or through previous QA work on blockchain-based applications. Curiosity and understanding of how decentralized systems operate are a big plus.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or similar), including setting up CI/CD checks or improving existing pipelines.
- Previous involvement in product development - especially in long-term, in-house products where QA is closely integrated with design, frontend, and backend teams.
- Familiarity with Postman, Git, and TestRail, or experience contributing to the definition of QA standards and documentation improvements.
If you’re ready to combine your attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving mindset to help us raise the quality bar for DeFi Saver, join our team and shape the future of decentralized finance.
Send your CV and a short explanation of why you’d like to join us to jobs@decenter.com.
Frontend Product Engineer
Medior/Senior
About Our Frontend and Client-Facing Team
Our role is to develop and improve the user interface and the entire dashboard through which DeFi Saver users can manage their crypto assets, interact with DeFi protocols, and initiate automation.
Our team includes five Frontend Engineers, a Product Designer, a QA Engineer, and a FE & Client-facing Lead. We are one of two technical teams working on DeFi Saver, alongside the Community/BizDev and Product teams.

What do you need to succeed in this role?
- You have at least 3 years of experience in frontend development for various web applications
- Experience with modern web technologies such as React, Redux, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, Postgres, Esbuild, etc.
- A dynamic and diverse job in a fast-evolving and changing industry sounds like a challenge to you, not a burden. You are open to change, can pivot on the fly and see reprioritization as a positive feature of an ecosystem characterized by constant exploration of new possibilities
- You possess a “can do” mentality. We try, fail, iterate, but always aim to move forward towards our planned goals
- You are goal-oriented with a broader vision and capable of finding new ways to achieve our objectives. You enjoy solving complex problems - that’s the hacker’s mindset we value
- You can identify areas for improvement and are not afraid to point out opportunities for us to be better at what we do
- You are a self-starter who takes responsibility for improving code, processes, technology, and products
- You have strong team collaboration skills, communicate effectively, provide feedback, and function well in an environment with cross-functional and decentralized structures
What can give you an additional advantage?
- You have experience in blockchain development (ideally on Ethereum), whether through freelance/outsource projects, personal R&D, side projects, or as part of a team building blockchain solutions. Alternatively, you are an active DeFi user - or ideally, both!
